RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged violent crimes.
Just after 6:30a.m. Thursday, officers filed a report for aggravated assault, two counts of domestic battery, two counts of mistreatment of a dependent adult, and two counts of criminal damage to property, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 65-year-old woman reported 30-year-old Nathan Bell, 30, of Manhattan, for a variety of alleged crimes. Police arrested Bell on requested charges of aggravated assault, two counts of domestic battery, one felony count of criminal damage to property, a misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property, and two counts of mistreatment of a dependent adult in Manhattan.
Bell is being held on a $48,000 bond.
