Boonjueon Burnes, 81 of Junction City, KS, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home in Junction City. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Buddhist Temple of Salina Kansas 2857 W. Pleasant Hill Road, Salina, KS 67401. Boonjueon was born January 9, 1941, in Uttaradit, Thailand the daughter of Yang and Boonmee Luangrueang. Survivors include one son; Nathanael S. Burnes of Aberdeen, N.C.; one grandson, Eric Gross and his wife Nadia of New Castle, DE; four granddaughters, Asia Fitzgerald, Samara, Alexia and Alexandria Drummond of Middletown, DE; many siblings, nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sonja Poitier of Middletown, DE and a sibling.&nbsp;&nbsp;
