Richard Lee Pavelka, 69, of Manhattan, passed away early Saturday, October 16th, at Via Christi Village. He was a social worker for the State of Kansas. Richard was born in Hastings, Nebraska on April 29, 1952, the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Strawser) Pavelka. Richard and Suzanne Marie Lindberg were married on September 18, 1982, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and were married for 37 years, Suzanne passed away July 19, 2020. He attended and graduated from KU with a Master's Degree. Richard is survived by his two sons Jeffery Pavelka, of Manhattan and Anthony Pavelka, of Manhattan; two sisters-in-law, Wendy Ann Smith, of Jackson, TN; &nbsp;Teresa Kay Zimmer, of Anchorage, Alaska; &nbsp;three brothers-in-laws, Frederick Stephen Lindberg, of Thousand Oaks, CA;&nbsp;Christopher Allen (Mary) Lindberg, of Seattle; Todd Andrew (Latoya) Linberg, of Chicago and his grandson, Arthur; two brothers, Ron Pavelka of Overland Park and Len Pavelka of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, Sandra Pavelka also of Lincoln. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Suzanne. Services are private at the convenience of the family.&nbsp; Funeral arrangements are with Carlson's Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home &amp; Cremation, Manhattan.&nbsp; &nbsp;
