Stella Willadeen "Willie" Kamm, 97, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Village Manor in Abilene, Kansas.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the First United Methodist Church in Junction City with Reverend Dirk Weiss officiating. Cremation has taken place. Her cremated remains will be buried near Dyer, Arkansas.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the First United Methodist Church or to the Friends of Animals in Junction City.
Willie was born June 26, 1926, in Geary County, Kansas the daughter of Martin M. and Stella (Williams) Kamm.Willie worked for the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service Office in Junction City until her retirement. She also worked for the First State Bank and Duckwalls in Junction City. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was part of the United Methodist Women and Nimble Fingers. She was also a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Workers organization. Willie enjoyed spending time at the Geary County Senior Center participating with the line dancing group. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and listening to sports on the radio.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and many other chosen family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Martin, Lyle, Virgil and Allen; one sister, Virginia and her life long friend, Hazel Rogers.
