Geary County Fish & Game Association will host the Kansas Muzzle Loading Association 2020 Shotgun Shoot on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 9 a.m.
Shoot will consist of 50 targets including 25 regulation trap / 16 yard line and 25 hunter's challenge 5-stand.
Muzzle Loading shotguns only can be used in the event. Prizes and trophies will be awarded. The entry fee is $25 with lunch included. Practice rounds are $8 per 25 targets. Lunch will be available for spectators by donation.
The hunter's challenge 5-stand will feature overhead, crossing, incoming and outgoing wobble targets. No pairs will be thrown so that single barrel guns can compete.
Camping is available at no cost on the grounds but no RV hookups are available. Other camping and lodging opportunities are located on Milford Lake or in Junction City.
