Pawnee Mental Health has announced the promotion of Amanda Yenzer, LMSW, M.S., to director of crisis services. Yenzer has been with Pawnee for four years and brings a deep commitment to serving individuals and families during mental health crises.
Yenzer began her career at Pawnee as a crisis intern and has since held positions as a case manager, crisis therapist, crisis services manager and now director. She also interned with the Youth Community Services program and served as a community-based therapist.
In her new role, Yenzer oversees Pawnee’s 24/7 crisis response services, including crisis screenings, mobile crisis support, and care coordination for individuals needing mental health assistance across the organization’s 10-county service area.
“Working in crisis services changed my perspective on therapy,” said Yenzer. “Every day is different, and it’s a privilege to help people through some of thardest moments of their lives.”
