Ronald Lee Randall, Jr. age 53, of Manhattan, died October 9, 2023, at his residence.
He was born March 25, 1970, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Ronald Lee. Sr., and Sandra Louise (McCoy) Randall. He was baptized at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wamego.
Ron graduated from Manhattan High School, and attended Kansas State University and Manhattan Technical College in Marketing.
He was the Branch Manager for OneMain Financial in Manhattan.
Ron was an Eagle Scout, loved his family, enjoyed going to the movies, streamed and binged watched movies and shows and loved all animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his pet dog Ellie that was a long-time companion and friend.
Survivors include his aunts and uncles: Bertha Jackson, Dan McCoy, Jim McCoy, George Randall, Betty Moon, Patty Ruiz, Roger Randall and Pamela Fletcher; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 18th, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in Wamego.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 17th at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home. A Parish Vigil and Rosary will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Boy Scouts of America or the T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter. Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
