RCPD investigates report of alleged gunfire in Manhattan

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged criminal damage to property involving gunfire.

Just before 3:30p.m. Wednesday, officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and criminal discharge of a firearm in the 2700 block of Moehlman Road in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

A 59-year-old man reported an unknown suspect shot a gun and hit his property. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000. No injuries were reported.
