Bison, Beef & Bourbon
Manhattan, Kan. – Bison, Beef & Bourbon, the Flint Hills Discovery Center Foundation’s second annual signature fundraiser will take place on Saturday, October 23, from 6:30-9:00p.m. at the Flint Hills Discovery Center, 315 S. 3rd Street in Manhattan.
The evening will offer bison and beef cuisine, including Wood Grilled Bison Skewers, Bison Atlantic Salmon, Hand Carved K.C. Strip Loin- Sliders and sides. Complimentary drinks including Horse Soldier Bourbon, silent and live auctions, musical entertainment and more will be available. The auctions will benefit the Flint Hills Discovery Center Foundation in its support of educational initiatives at the Discovery Center.
“This year’s event will generate funding for KIDSCAPE, our most significant project for the Discovery Center,” said Bruce Snead, FHDC Foundation President. “This project is focused on engaging children in the sciences and history as they learn about the Kansas Flint Hills and the importance of its care and conservation.”
