MANHATTAN - Bringing the pasture to the pavement, the Aggieville Showdown Grand Drive returns to Aggieville on Saturday, April 6th.
The Aggieville Showdown is a national cattle jackpot show and was created by a group of friends passionate about agricultural education and looking for a way to bridge the gap between rural and urban lifestyles.
The Aggieville Showdown educates the public on the journey from producer to consumer, while celebrating the American Beef producers.
Friday, April 5th starts with the Showmanship round, and then on Saturday morning, producers have the opportunity to show their market beef and breeding heifer cattle at the Riley County Fairgrounds.
The Grand Drive rounds out the event with the top market beef and breeding heifer cattle being shown on Moro Street with the opportunity to win cash prizes, following a fashion show, live music, vendors and exhibitor interviews.
