Fort Riley youth and adults can participate in a Fishing Derby at Moon Lake on Fort Riley Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m. This event is open to DOD ID cardholders, including active duty service members, military retirees and family members. The cost will be $5 per participant and pre-registration will be required at Outdoor Adventure Park or by calling 785-239-5412.
COVID-19 guidelines on the wearing of masks and maintaining physical distancing will be followed. All those who participate will need to have a fishing license and provide their own equipment and bait. Prizes will be awarded for the smallest catch, biggest catch and first catch.
