Registered voters in USD 383 Manhattan / Ogden can go to the polls on Tuesday to cast votes in the primary election for the Board of Education race.
There are 10 candidates on the ballot, but one, Bill Spiegel, recently announced that he was withdrawing from the race. Other candidates include Jennifer Chua, Karla Hagemeister, Kevin M. Harms, Betty Mattingly-Ebert, Jayme Morris-Hardeman, Teresa W. Parks, Steven Ruzzin, Carl Treece and Christine Weixelman.
The list of candidates will be pared down to six in the primary. Those six will advance on to the November general election.
