Just before 8:30 pm on Wednesday, March 13th, Riley County Public Information Officer notified area media that the KBI has notified Emergency Management officials of Everbridge weather alert messages not working properly
“We are aware that weather messages are not being received in both Kansas and Missouri. We are currently working with the NWS to resolve the issue. Please use alternate means to monitor weather (cell, tv, radio, weather radio, or websites.)”
