&nbsp;Ronald B. "Ron" Schnurr, 53, of Dwight, KS, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS. Cremation will take place. A graveside service with military honors are pending at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. Ron was born April 15, 1968, the son of Ronald George-Bernard and Betty Mae (Clossin) Schnurr. Ron served five years in the United States Army. After his Army career at Ft. Riley, he stayed and lived in Geary County, Kansas where he raised his family and worked on a farm. He married Joleen Enfield in Junction City, KS. They were married for twenty eight years. Survivors include his wife Joleen of the home in Dwight, KS; two sons, Cody Schnurr of Overland Park, KS and Zachary Schnurr of the home in Dwight, KS; his mother, Betty Mae Schnurr of Alta Vista, KS; two brothers, Terry and his wife Julie Schnurr of Topeka, KS and Michael and his wife Diana Schnurr of Junction City, KS; mother-in-law Hannelore Enfield; his aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his father.
