Irma Lynn Kimble Smith, 76, a resident of Baywood, La., and native of Amite, La., went to her heavenly home on March 17, 2023.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Bluff Creek Baptist
Church from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Burial will follow
in Naul Cemetery.
Irma is survived by her daughter, Julie Smith Stevens
(Joey) of Clinton, Luke H. Pamplin, Sr. (Kim P.) of Clinton and Kenneth
W. Smith (Veronica S.) of Marshall, AR, sisters, Rhenda O'Malley (Tim)
of Marble Falls, TX and Edith Kimble of Amite, brothers, Miton Kimble
(Marie) of Slaughter, Luke Kimble Jr. of Manhattan, KS and George
Kimble (Sharee) of Amite, grandchildren, Ashley E. Oliver, Luke H.
Pamplin Jr., Jackson E. Stevens, D'Lanie R. Stevens, Rusty Triche,
Randy Triche and Renee Triche. She is also survived by numerous great
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in
death by her father, Luke Robertson Kimble, mother, Rose Lee Kimble,
husband, Donald E. Smith, sister, Dammanica Lee Sullivan, and brothers,
Willie Harvey Kimble and Glen Robertson Kimble.
Pallbearers will be Luke H. Pamplin Jr., Jackson E. Stevens, Jeremy Oliver, Tate Kirby, Taft Kirby and Brooks Kelly.
Irma's love was caring for others and being "Aunt Irma" to many. She
will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to
the staff at Grace Health and Rehab and Bridgeway Hospice.
