SPICMACAY, in association with Globe Indian and Mama Fang’s Asian Market is organizing a fundraising event called “Streets of India” this Friday, October 22, from 4-7 p.m. at the Multicultural Student Center on the Kansas State University campus.

The student organization cordially invites you to experience walking about the streets of India, giving you an opportunity to purchase and enjoy delicious Indian snacks and sweets, beverages, authentic henna and hand-crafted art - all the different items that you would normally get at an Indian street market. Cash and Venmo will be available for payments.

SPICMACAY celebrates the spirit of volunteerism, of giving selflessly without expectation, a value intrinsic to our culture and important in today's world. SPICMACAY KSU chapter identifies with this goal and tries to bring various international, national and local artists on one platform with the hope of getting the youth more involved. We promote everyone irrespective of their race, religion, caste, nationality and sexual orientation, to volunteer and participate in whatever form, for our events and the cause of our organization. Our project revolves around 'East meets West' goal. We aim to give the Manhattan community and K-State students a new and diverse cultural experience through art forms unknown to many.
