With deepest sorrow, we announce that Lozano Rey Perez-Lovett, age 20, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend received his wings on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Lozano was born April 19, 2001 in Manhattan, Kansas.

Lozano grew up in Chapman, Kansas and graduated with the class of 2019 from Chapman High School. After graduation Lozano followed his dream of playing basketball and attended Rockford College in Rockford, IL before transferring to Hesston College where he continued to play basketball. He had recently moved to Wichita, to continue working for Foot Locker as an Assistant Manager in their retail store. Like most young men he loved playing video games and hanging out with friends. He was a collector of many trinkets from various trips with his family and enjoyed all bodies of water, especially the ocean. He treasured visits to Houston, TX to celebrate holidays with cousins and family.

Lozano will be missed everyday by his parents Mark and Megan Lovett, James and Rebecca Perez-Chisholm, Sisters Vanessa (Alex) Canfield, Brylea Lovett, Taylyn Lovett, Amanda (Chris) Czyprinsky and Miranda Chisholm. Along with his grandparents Mary Lovett, Jerry Lovett, Concepion and Camila Perez, James Sr., and Cathy Chisholm and Robert & Rhoda Frasier and his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great friends.

He is preceded in death by his uncle Mike Lovett and his sister Faith Lovett.

Those who knew Lozano, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. We will forever miss you, your smile and your laid-back personality. Love you so much son!

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to be given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and may be sent in care of the Johnson Funeral Home, 203 North Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.
