Man jailed for alleged threat against teen in Manhattan

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged threat. 

Just after 4p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report for criminal threat in the 400 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

A 17-year-old boy reported an unknown male suspect made threats to him. Seth Sumners, 46, of Manhattan was arrested for criminal threat. Sumners was issued a total bond amount of $8,ooo and is being held in the Riley County Jail.
