Sharon L. Neugent passed away on August 5, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas. She and her surviving twin sister, Shirley, were born on July 27, 1947, In Junction City, Kansas to Leo and Helen Kaufholz. Sharon and Shirley shared a life-long bond, as twins do.

Sharon graduated from Manhattan High School in 1966. Sharon worked for Little Apple Honda-Toyota for 26 years. She enjoyed her work and her colleagues and the people she met in her job.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Sonny, Gerald, and Jim Kaufholz, and two sisters, Linda Zdrojowy, and Helen Kaufholz.

Sharon is survived by her twin sister, Shirley Nielsen, and sister-in-law, Carol Kaufholz, both of Manhattan; also her nieces Karen Christopherson and Patricia Block, from Wisconsin.&nbsp;

Graveside services will be held at 10:30a.m Thursday August 14, 2025, at the Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan, with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating.
