Janice E. Kleinsorge, 82, of Enterprise passed away October 25th 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Abilene. Janice was born August 3, 1941 the daughter of Harold and Mildred Houlton in Abilene, KS.Janice was a graduate of Abilene high school. Janice lived in Colorado for many years and was a project manager and office manager for the home weatherization program for the State of Colorado. Later in life Janice married George Kleinsorge Jr. and returned to Enterprise to make their home.
Janice is survived by her husband George of the home. Daughters Kim Riffel and husband Terry of rural Enterprise, Brenda Ehrhart and husband Mark of Omaha Nebraska. Sons Roger Kelley and wife Becky of rural Chapman and Mark Kelley and wife Wanda of Charlston South Carolina. Step Children Dawn Washborn husband Jason of Zuric Kansas, John Kleinsorge of New York and Robert (Bo) Kleinsorge wife Julie of Colby, Kansas. Janice is also survived by sisters Nancy Womochil of Abilene and Linda Houlton of Des Moines Iowa as well as nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Janice was preceeded in death by her brother Kenneth Houlton and sisters, Thelma Knopp and Phylis Fager.
Janice is remembered for her warm and bubbly personality and her kindness shown to anyone she met. A scripture service to honor Janice will be held at 2:00 p.m. November 4, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church 210 E. 6th Street in Chapman.
