Geary County Emergency Management passed along information from the National&nbsp; Weather Service. A light wintry mix is possible Thursday morning, with slick spots possible along and north of Hwy 24. Winds could gust as high as 40mph.

Wind chill values late Saturday night and Sunday morning are forecast to be as low as -10° F across the area. Near zero wind chills may continue into early next week.

Low temperatures Sunday morning will fall to near zero along the Nebraska state border with single digits further south.

Frostbite can occur in as little as 30 minutes with the coldest forecast wind chill values.
