Barbara Ann Woods, 77, of Junction City, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Skiddy Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Research Fund, KSU Foundation, P.O. Box 9200, Shawnee Mission, Kansas 66201-1800.

She was born on October 27, 1945, in Fort Riley, Kansas to Roy Bullock and Verda (Shane) Peterson. Barbara was a life long resident of Geary County. Barbara was a loving house wife and mother. She liked to spend her time canning vegetables out of her families garden. On October 16, 1963, she married Calvin Woods at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Junction City, Kansas. Barbara is survived by her children, Ronald (Kathryn) Woods of Grandview Plaza, Kansas, Lisa Snody of Junction City, Kansas; three grandchildren, Travis Woods of White City, Kansas, Jeremy Woods of Junction City, Kansas, Ashlee (Kyle) Collins of Montgomery, Texas; and three great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin Don Woods; her daughter Angel Lea; her siblings, Glenn Bullock, Gary Peterson, and Brenda Peterson.
