Anna Elaine Miller, age 58, passed away in her home in Westmoreland, Kansas on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Anna was born in September 1965 to Kenneth and Janice (Adams) Goehring of Wamego, Kansas. She was the youngest daughter of their four children and was lovingly referred to as “Ann” by those who knew and loved her. Ann attended Westmoreland High School where she met her former husband, Robert “Bobby” Miller Jr. Upon graduating from WHS in 1984, Bobby and Ann welcomed a son, Ryan. In 1996, their daughter Cheyanne was born.
A prominent member of the Westmoreland community, Ann was the face of the Pottawatomie County Health Department where she served her community for 28 years as an Administrative Professional. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was oftentimes the life of the party with her sarcasm, quick wit, and infectious laugh. Ann was a loyal friend who chose to see the best in others and was always willing to help someone in need. Those who knew her well also saw her soft heart for animals, as she cared for many pets throughout the years including her most beloved and greatly missed Chihuahua, Bella.
Ann is survived by her mother, Janice Goehring; son Ryan Miller (Stephanie); daughter Cheyanne Miller; grandson Reo Miller; sisters Teresa Ault (Bruce) and Marcia Beachler (Shane), brother Kenneth “Kirk” Goehring (Jennifer), and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Goehring.
The family will greet friends at a visitation service on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Wamego, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
