Join The Flint Hills Discovery Center for National Day of the Cowboy this Saturday, July 26, for an annual celebration of this national icon and the history and culture of the American West.
Participate in fun activities, including roping, wood block branding, wagon rides (from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), Western-style photo ops, kids’ crafts and games, line dance demonstrations and lessons at 11 a.m., and more.
Regular admission rates apply. All activities are included with admission. Eligible Kansas families can use the Sunflower Summer app for free admission.
The first 300 kids in attendance will receive a bandana, courtesy of Vanderbilt’s and Ariat. Rainbow Ice will sell snow cones and Texas Roadhouse will be selling pulled pork sliders, right outside the Discovery Center!
