On Saturday at 12;54 p.m.-Deputies responded to K-18 Highway at mile marker 179 in reference to a two vehicle non-injury accident. Kevin D. Walters of Manhattan was operating a 2015 Freightliner plow truck for the Kansas Department of Transportation, (KDOT) when he was attempting a U-Turn he was struck by Marc Bryant of Manhattan who was operating a Chevrolet Colorado. The Chevrolet was removed from the scene by Gross Wrecker Service. The KDOT truck was removed by the driver. No injuries were reported.

On Saturday at 9:58 p.m.Deputies responded to I-70 westbound at mile marker 291 for a two vehicle non-injury accident. Brady Wang of Salina, KS was driving a Toyota Tacoma when he attempted to pass a Freightliner operated by Luis Marquez Barron of Anaheim, CA. Brady spun out on the snow and struck Luis. The Tacoma sustained functional damage, and the Freightliner sustained minor damage. Both vehicles were removed by the drivers. No injuries were reported.

On Sunday at 4:45 p.m. Deputies responded to the 7500 block of Old Highway 77 in reference to a single vehicle injury accident. Katrena L. Bowers of Ft. Riley, KS was traveling eastbound in her  Jeep Grand Cherokee when her vehicle ran off the roadway to the north due to icy road conditions and rolled onto the side. Bowers was transported to Irwin Hospital for evaluation.
