Christine was born in Manhattan Kansas where she spent her early child hood attending Manhattan area public schools. At the age of nine, she was baptized during a candle light Christmas Eve service at University Christian Church. She later went on to earn her General Education Degree in the State of Wisconsin.
Christine has always been witty, mischievous and playful. She prides herself in her fluency in sarcasm and her colorful sense of humor. She will always be remembered as a daughter, a sister, a wife and a friend, but Christine’s proudest accomplishment is being a mother. Christine’s spirit has and always will love her children fiercely.
She is survived by her husband, Nate Reeves and her four children: Olivia Grace, Gavin Thomas, Nathan Casey and Luna May along with her step children Tori and Shelby.
Others awaiting the day of reunion include her mother, Suzanne Lundberg, siblings Caity, Corrie Jo and Caleb, as well as her father Dave Sterling, step mother Jenny and half-siblings Josie, Zeke and Oliver.
While we will desperately miss seeing her smile, hearing her voice, experiencing her laughter, her beauty, her joy and simply being in her presence, we are also thankful that her spirit is at peace and she is finally, wholly and completely free.
The family will celebrate her life starting at 10:00 a.m. Friday August 20, 2021 at the Long's Park in Manhattan. All are invited to come and celebrate and remember and share stories about Christine, with her family and friends.
The Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home is assisting the family with the services.
