MANHATTAN - On Friday, August 4, 2023, the Bayer Construction crews working on the new roundabout at Grand Mere Parkway and Kimball Avenue will move forward to Phase 2 of the project.
Phase 2 includes reopening the intersection to traffic, with the use of new temporary fly-through routes.
The fly-through route allows traffic from Grand Mere to access Kimball Avenue using a temporary intersection controlled by a stop sign.

Phase 2 will be in place through late-2023.
City of Manhattan says heavy traffic and delays should be expected on Kimball Avenue, Anderson Avenue and Hudson Drive, especially on K-State football gamedays this fall.
