Fort Riley and the 1st Infantry Division invite military retirees of all services to Retiree Appreciation Day 2026. Spouses, widows and widowers are also welcome to attend.
Registration begins at 8:00 and program will begin at 9:00.
The Army noted that throughout the day, guests will get the latest information on TRICARE, Medicare, hospital services and other health care issues, veterans' affairs, legislative issues, casualty affairs, long term care insurance and many other topics of concern to military retirees.
Veterans organizations will be onsite to provide information.
The public-health team from Irwin Army Community Hospital will provide vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Garrison Commander, COL Joey Orr and Irwin Army Community Hospital Commander, COL Jason Marquart will provide opening remarks.
