Konza Student Table approaches first birthday

Konza Student Table in Manhattan will pass the 20,000 meal mark on Wednesday, which is also the organization's first birthday. The Konza Student Table works to combat food insecurity by provdng free and nutritious meals for K-State students. 

According to K-State Today all KSU students and their immediate families can receive a free meal each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the D1 parking lot across the street from the old football stadium. Along with dinner, participants also receive a snack and breakfast for the next day.

Lacy's Fresh Fare and Catering, a student run service through the K-State hospitality management department serves as the program caterer. They make more than 300 meals each week for distribution.
