According to health officials, Pottawatomie County is now advancing to other qualified persons in Phase 2. If you are 65 or older and have not yet been vaccinated, you may still sign-up. In addition, if you work in a congregate setting (new priority), or are a high-contact critical worker (see definitions below) and have not yet signed-up, please do so now. If you are a business that qualifies for Phase 2, please contact the Health Department with the number of employees interested.
The Pottawatomie County Health Department, Wamego Health Center, and Community Health Care system are reaching out to businesses that may qualify to see if they are interested. Licensed Childcare Providers and Centers that are interested should contact the Pottawatomie County Health Department at 785-457-3719.
They are unable to move to Phase 3 until every county in Kansas is ready. Therefore it is important to get all those who qualify, and want the vaccine, from Phases 1 and 2, to sign-up now.
