I'm reaching out to share an exciting community story opportunity from Girls on the Run of the Flint Hills.
On Monday, August 4, Girls on the Run of the Flint Hills will host Ready, Set, Rise!, a unique leadership retreat open to all rising sixth grade girls across the Flint Hills region. This experience is designed to help girls build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create meaningful connections before beginning middle school.
Unlike a traditional conference, girls will choose their own leadership path through interactive breakout sessions led by influential women from THE community. The day will also feature nationally recognized keynote speaker Shalin Klein, along with engaging activities focused on confidence, belonging, courage, goal setting, self-advocacy, and leadership.
