This year marked a special milestone for Konza United Way in Manhattan as they hosted their first-ever Day of Caring and it would not have been possible without the support of the community. In partnership with the 2026 Leadership Manhattan Class, 55 volunteers came together to complete nine projects alongside seven local agencies, directly serving organizations that support individuals and families throughout the region.
Volunteers stepped in to complete hands-on projects that strengthened local nonprofits and enhanced the spaces that help deliver essential community services every day.
As we celebrate the success of our first Day of Caring, we are excited for what’s ahead. With continued community support and partnerships like the one they shared with the 2026 Leadership Manhattan Class, they look forward to growing this event and making it even bigger and better next year.
