City of Manhattan

The intersection of Browning Avenue and Dickens Avenue will be closed for approximately 6 weeks for a KDOT Safe Routes to School project, installing new sidewalk ramps and storm inlets. Northbound and southbound travelers should use the detour of Hobbs Drive and College Avenue. While east/west access through Dickens will remain open, southbound access to Browning off Dickens will be closed during the project.

Expect traffic delays. Please slow down and use extreme caution in the area. Workers will be on site working to close the intersection.

The work is expected to take about 6 weeks, depending on weather conditions. Rain will cause delays.
