The City of Manhattan has announced that work is moving forward and the contractor plans to reopen Anderson Ave to two-way traffic by the end of the day ( Friday, June 26 ).
The full reopening of Phase 1 will happen in 3 - 4 weeks and will include a major traffic control change from the western limits of the project to near Timberlane.
Workers will still be present after the roadway opens to through traffic, so remember to reduce speed, obey signs, and use caution to keep everyone safe.
