Kenneth John Umscheid, age 62, a lifetime Manhattan resident, died November 17, 2022, at his residence.

He was born January 23, 1960, in Manhattan, the son of Cletus and Donna (Foster) Umscheid.

Kenny worked with his family at Umscheid Auto for many years. He then had worked at Midwest Concrete Materials and Shilling Construction.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and spent many hours working on his classic cars.

Survivors include his daughter Sadie Webb and her husband William of Great Bend, KS; his sister Dixie Curtis and her husband Shaun of Manhattan; and three grandchildren: Kaden, McKenna and Gage.

A Celebration of Kenny’s Life will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3rd, at the Eagles Lodge, 312 South 4th Street, Manhattan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kenny Umscheid Memorial Fund for his grandchildren’s education fund. Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
