.Geary County Fish & Game Association will be holding a Spring Archery Fun Shoot on Saturday, April 26 at Sportsman’s Acres, 3922 Highway K-244 Spur, just south of the Milford Lake Dam. Spokesman Larry George noted that the start time is 9:30am with sign-in starting at 9:00.
Entry fees are $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for under 18 years old. The shoot will have a variety of 3D targets arrayed on the archery walking trail with varying distances. It will include 20 stations with 2 positions at each station for a total of 40 shots.
Shooters must declare one of three categories of bow: Traditional, Bowhunter, or Open/Target Bow. Once signed up you can traverse the course at your own speed. Range finders will be allowed and Lunch will be provided.
Gift certificates will be given to the best overall score in each category and one for the best youth score.
