Ilsuk Simpson, 80, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her residence in Junction City, KS. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held 9-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Johnson Funeral Home. Ilsuk was born June 2, 1941, in Seoul, South Korea. Ilsuk worked thirty years as a cook at Fort Riley. She enjoyed gardening and watching Korean movies and shows. She married Robert Simpson. He passed away in June of 2004. Survivors include two sons, Frank E. Simpson and James R. Simpson both of Junction City, KS; two grandchildren, Kayla M. Simpson and Jaiden Thomas Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and many relatives in South Korea.
