The City of Manhattan has announced that Furniture Amnesty Day is Friday, July 26 in Manhattan City Park from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.! Details and signup: https://cityofmhk.com/2715/Furniture-Amnesty-Day
This is an annual event hosted by the City of Manhattan Municipal Government and HandsOn Kansas State , that allows local residents to donate furniture so others can select from the donated goods for free. This event helps find new homes for hundreds of pieces of furniture. Last year we kept 355 pieces of furniture out of the landfill.
