Military spouse reciprocity is one focus for the Governor's Military Council Director

Perry Wiggins, Executive Director of the Governor's Military Council, is focusing on spouse reciprocity where that is necessary.  He told a MAC breakfast in Junction City that involves licensing approval for military spouses. "When they come into the state they go to work. Kansas needs that type of intellectual  capital. They need those people working for them here in the state, they're a great resource and we're not taking advantage of it like we should."

Wiggins touched on topics ranging from a quality of life assessment to the combined acreage of Fort Riley and Smoky Hill Training Resources and complex, and the impact on training size capability.
