Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, and potential SNAP benefits being delayed for the month of November, local organizations in Manhattan are hosting an Urgent Food Drive this Sunday, Nov. 2.&nbsp;

The food drive will be from Noon-4:00 p.m. at the City Park Shelter on Poyntz in Manhattan. The food that is donated will be given to the Flint Hills Breadbasket, who is experiencing an unprecedented demand for food.&nbsp;

The most needed items are: Bread, Proteins, and Produce.&nbsp;
