Junction City Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Director Rob Wilson has confirmed that the annual Fall Apple Day Festival on Fort Riley will be held on Oct. 18 this year. That will avoid a conflict with the Junction City Oktoberfest, which will be held downtown on Oct. 3 and 4
In the past Apple Day was held earlier in October.
