On Thursdsay, Torrey Sherard Lindsay, 37, of Manhattan, was told he would be charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle from a Sunday morning incident in which, according to court documents, Lindsay fired a handgun from his vehicle at a female in a GMC Yukon SUV as both vehicles were traveling along Fort Riley Boulevard.

After dispatchers received a call of shots fired, Riley County PD officers quickly intercepted the situation, converging on the vehicles at the intersection of Miller Parkway and Fort Riley Boulevard and taking Lindsay into custody. He remains in the Riley County jail in lieu of a $750,000 bond.

Cornelius Lee Sisson, 37, and Kenneth Durell Dotson, 38, both of Manhattan, accused of robbing and attacking victims at a Manhattan Dairy Queen, both made their first appearances in front of Bosch as well.

On October 8, an employee of the Dairy Queen at 1015 N. 3rd Street made an emergency call to Riley County 911 claiming that Sisson and Dotson were forcing their way into the building, making threats and brandishing a bat.

Reports say that Sisson and Dotson then forced a man outside, striking the man as well as a female victim with the bat.

Sisson and Dotson were arrested when previously dispatched officers arrived at the scene.

None of the suspects entered a plea during their hearing. All three men requested and were denied bond modifications. All three individuals also requested and were afforded legal representation through the Junction City Public Defender. The organization had not yet assigned individual attorneys to the suspects as of Thursday night.

Sisson was convicted of attempted murder in Geary County in 2001 and multiple drug felonies in 2010. He remains in jail on a $30,000 bond. Dotson was convicted of domestic battery in 2017 and remains in jail on a $24,000 bond.

Status hearings for all three cases are scheduled for November 9.
