MANHATTAN - Kansas State University Marching Band hosted a 'wall breaking' ceremony to mark the start of renovations of the northwest corner under Memorial Stadium, soon to be Tracz Family Band Hall.
The facility will provide storage, practice space, and offices for the K-State Marching Band, all in one location.
The 'Pride of Wildcat-land' currently makes use of space in multiple building across campus for storage, office space and indoor practice facilities.
The new Tracz Family Band Hall will provide the convenience of being at Memorial Stadium, the Marching Band's outdoor practice space, saving time and allowing band members to have quick access to shelter in case of inclement weather.
