RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities in Riley County are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.
Just after 2:30a.m. Tuesday, police arrested 23-year-old Thomas Leggio of Manhattan in the 500 block of Rio Hondo Way, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Leggio was arrested on requested charges of aggravated assault of an law enforcement officer, display of a license plate, failure to yield stop or sign, interference with an law enforcement officer, flee or attempt to elude five or more moving violations, flee or attempt to elude law enforcement by engaging in reckless driving, unsafe turning or stopping, and maximum speed limits.
He met the requirement of a $5,000 bond and is not longer in custody, according to the activity report.
