DICKINSON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Tuesday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Freigtliner motorhome driven by Janet E. Hand, 63, Reno, Nevada, was westbound on Interstate 70 six miles west of the Chapman exit.
The motorhome rear-ended a 2020 Toyota Tundra driven by Joe Herzanek, 72, Berthoud, Colorado, who was slowing down due to an earlier accident.
EMS transported Hand to the hospital in Abilene. Herzanek was not injured. Both were properly restrained a the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
