Kelli Ann Ireton, age 44, of Manhattan, passed away April 24, 2024 in Manhattan.
Kelli was born on April 4, 1980 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Dale A. and Barbara (Smith) Rivett. Kelli and her family moved to Manhattan in 1985. She attended schools in Manhattan, and graduated from Manhattan High School with the class of 1998. After graduation she attended Kansas State University, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Phycology. She later earned her Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics.
Kelli worked for USD 475 in Junction City, she was not only a math teacher to students but also was an instructor to other teacher's on how to teach math. Kelli also ran the AVID Program at Junction City over her 12 years. She later worked for USD 383 in Manhattan for 3 years. Kelli was an outstanding Math instructor and took pride in mentoring young adults over the years. She loved family, friends, photography and cooking.
She was united in marriage to Daniel Ireton. They were blessed with three children, Alex, Gauge, and Madeline. Kelli and Daniel later divorced.
Kelli is survived by her children Alex Ireton (Taylor), Gauge Ireton, and Madeline Ireton, and also her precious granddaughter Karson Ireton.
The family will greet friends during a visitation on Tuesday May 7, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan.
Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 7, 2024 at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at the Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Kelli to the Manhattan-Ogden Public School Foundation (STEAM Program) or program of your choice. Contributions may be sent in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
