Geary County Emergency Management said arctic air moves in on Saturday dropping temperatures below freezing through Tuesday.
Wind Chill values, or what it feels like, are expected to be around zero to around 15 below this weekend and into next week.
Make sure heaters are working properly, dress in layers when going outside including a hat and gloves, and check on neighbors to make sure they can keep warm.
