Carl Arthur Tanguay

Carl Arthur Tanguay, born on October 7, 1950, embarked on his eternal journey to be with his heavenly Father on April 20, 2025. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Carl leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strong faith.

A retired Property Management Specialist, for many years at Fort Riley, Kansas, and was also known for his work in Florence Manufacturing in Manhattan, Kansas, where he made mailboxes. His career reflected not only his dedication to his profession but also his commitment to serving his community.

Carl cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Ann Tanguay, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. His memory will be forever honored by his daughter, Jennifer Lea Bozarth, and her husband Dwayne. He was a proud grandparent to Kyle A. Bozarth and his wife Sunshine, as well as a cherished brother to his sisters Nancy Maston, Kathy Smith, and Janet Crabtree and her husband Gary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and a host of friends who were touched by his generous spirit.

Among his many proud accomplishments, Carl was a dedicated member of the Fraternal Order Eagles #830 in Junction City, Kansas. He was known for his unwavering faith as a faithful servant to the Lord and had a unique ability to relate to people, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Carl had a lifelong passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, which brought him joy and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. He also found pleasure in the simple things, such as feeding the birds, reflecting his gentle nature and love for life's little joys.

Carl was predeceased by his father, Raymond H. Tanguay, and mother, Rosita Delector Tanguay, as well as his brother, Richard Tanguay, and sister, Rose Marie Tanguay-Penn. Their memories remain a part of his story as he now rests in peace.

Though Carl Arthur Tanguay has departed from this earthly realm, his spirit and the love he manifested will continue to resonate with all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his light will shine in the hearts of his family and friends.
