Sally Marie Thomas passed away on January 7, 2024, with family at her side. Sally was born at home on January 3, 1939, the daughter of Gail and Bernice Farber near Morrowville, KS. Sally married Arlo Delay in 1956. He preceded her in death in January of 1980. She married Dan Thomas in 1981. He preceded her in death in 2015.

Sally will be remembered by family and friends as a kind, caring person who devoted her time and energy to many local charities and organizations.

Sally is survived by her son Kenneth (Nancy) Delay and her daughter Deb (Trent) Taylor all of Abilene, brother Jim (Barb) Farber, Lincoln, NE, sister Ruth McCord, Fairbury, NE, grandchildren Chris (Jenna) Delay, Abilene, Ted (Joy) Delay, Jacksonville, FL, Kyle (Brendan), San Jose, CA, Cody (Danielle) Taylor, Abilene, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church on Saturday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m.&nbsp; Visitation will be at Danner Funeral Home on Friday, January 12 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.&nbsp;&nbsp;
