Esta Wilma Schneider Anderson Glessner

Esta Wilma Schneider Anderson Glessner, 100, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Valley View Senior Life Center. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Welcome Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the donor's choice.

Esta was born February 13, 1922 in North Carolina the daughter of George and Helen (Carey) Schneider.

Esta taught school in Alma, Alta Vista, White City and Fort Riley, KS. She later worked as a Secretary at Kansas State University. She later joined her husband Roland Lee Glessner with the family rental business in Junction City, KS.  She had a strong membership with the Junction City Landlord Association and the Junction City Chamber of Commerce.

She married Roland Lee Glessner in 1955.

Survivors inlcude three sons, Philip Douglas Anderson of Junction City, KS, Marc E. Glessner of Junction City, KS and Grant L. Glessner of rural Alta Vista, KS; four grandchildren, Yesenia Anderson, Brandon Glessner, Kurtis Glessner and Cassie Glessner-Worrall; eleven great-grandchildren, Alexander, Malachi and Teighlor Anderson, Trinity Murphy, Avia Glessner, Cadie Glessner, Timothy and Danny Worrall, Mary Glessner, Walter and Waldo Glessner;

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland, one granddaughter, Juliann Anderson; six siblings.
